Welcome to the official website of the Qormi Bread Festival 2010. For the 9th Edition of the Qormi Bread Festival, all visitors will be enjoying a unique experience of tradition and food.
This year’s Festival will be held on the 9th, 10th and 11th September 2010. On the 9th September, there will be the official opening, while on the 10th and 11th September, you will be able to come in Hal Qormi and enjoy a feast of delicious and affordable hot and cold food based on different types of bread. Combined with a traditional atmosphere, all family members will be enjoying a great line-up of musicians, musical groups, stand-up comedies and animators.
For this year all children will also be enjoying themselves in the Kids area. There will be several games, animation, food, free presents and music. There will also be the trackless train going from one bakery to the other. Furthermore, we will be having the unique participation of ZOO Productions that will be one of our greatest attractions to all visitors – Maltese, Gozitans and tourists.
In this website you can find information about the history of Maltese bread as well as pictures. We also have a competitions section for kids and photographers who can upload their photos to all our website visitors. Kids can also play some games. All visitors can also donate to the Bread Fund of St Joseph Home, St Venera.
